You work across several clients, and each one hands you a calendar. These nine steps take you from install to one honest view of your week, in about twenty minutes.
Have the sign-in for every calendar you keep: your own, and each client's account or guest login. Connecting them all in one sitting is what makes your first morning useful.
Know which clients you are working with this quarter, and roughly how many hours a week each one takes.
Want to look around first? Demo mode fills the app with sample data and touches nothing of yours.
Four screens. On the second, choose Fractional executive as your role and turn on all three areas: calendar and meetings, relationships, and practice management. At the end you are shown a recovery phrase once. Write it down.
The tour explains the Today view in five screens. The app also asks to send notifications. Allow them: prep reminders, leave-now alerts and the prompt to capture what was agreed are what keep you ready as you move between clients.
Plans are billed through Apple, like any other subscription on your device. Compare what each includes on the pricing section of our home page.
Open Settings with the gear at the top right, then Connected Accounts. Tap the plus, choose Microsoft, Google or Apple, and sign in. Repeat for every account, including each client's. If a client publishes a calendar feed instead, choose Add Shared Calendar (ICS) and paste its address.
On the Practice tab, tap the plus and name the client. Add an engagement with the hours a week you expect it to take. That figure is what lets the app warn you when the week will not fit.
In Settings, open Calendar Settings, then Calendar Accounts. Open an account, then each calendar on it. Set what the calendar is for, whether its busy time is read, whether busy time is mirrored into it, and which client it belongs to.
In Calendar Settings, check that Mirror busy time across calendars is on. It is on unless you turned it off. A meeting in one calendar then appears as a plain busy block in the others, with no title, no attendees and no notes. Some client calendars refuse changes from apps. For those, the app sends the busy time as an invitation, and Calendar Settings shows how to have that account accept it automatically.
On the People tab, add the handful of client stakeholders you would be sorry to lose touch with, and set how often you want to be in contact with each.
Today is the quick answer to "what do I have going on today?" It shows your briefing, what is due, and the day's meetings across every client, and nothing around them. The detail is on Plans: the prep and travel blocks around each meeting, your focus time, and the rest of the week.
Solo consultants: a setup guide is coming soon.
Any other role: start with Set up your profile, then the guides on the Help page.
Write to us and we will help you get set up.
Tell us which step you are on and what you see. You do not need to send us anything from inside the app.
